She was gone
I couldn't live without her
Fifty four years
I'd been with her
Now, she was gone
I sat beside her
Felt her heart beat
Felt it stop
I was all alone
The World was cruel
To save her soul
I let her die
This was no gift
It was a curse
To watch your loved ones perish
To watch the light leave their eyes
To be left alone
I loved something
It was gone
The world was a different place
We would never be accepted
We were monsters
Forced to live out our lives
As stories that lurked in the dark
I would see the sun again
I would see her again
You Bring Me To Life
