The star's pale light
Is enough to see Cosmos's might
With scales black as night
With stars that shine to the Moon's delight
With spines the color of ebony
“Impossible!”quoth many in jealousy
Cosmos, Queen of the sky
Always willing to fly
Cosmos, Queen of the night
Her stars shine bright.
Luna, elf lady fair
Queen with night black hair
Queen with skin whiter than light
With eyes black like the night yet sparkling bright
Luna, diamond crowned,
For diamonds in the sky abound
Luna, Queen of the elves
They choose her themselves
Luna, Queen of the night
Her stars shining bright.
“I am Luna”I say
“I am Cosmos” and I display
My change from elf to dragon
Lager than large wagon.
“I am goddess of the night
I rule for my childrens' delight
For they are all born of the dark
In my land, the land of all, queen or lark.
