"Dead love"
On a silent eve, I was waiting for him in the garden of my thoughts
I tried to hide my tears, but he caught.
I had so many questions and felt like a helpless bird
His eyes were speaking more than his words.
He said, “I lust for everything about you.”
I murmured,
“But then why did you leave me? Don’t you know my life is so blue?”
I still remember him reciting alluring poetry while holding my hands
now those words seemed anonymous and my life felt like a barren land.
It started growing dusk, and he went away
I shouted and cried, I wanted him to stay.
I ran after him, but he didn’t stop!
I turned back, and saw a coffin box with my name on top.
I was on my knees and pinched myself to realize if it was a dream and that I was in my bed.
However, I felt stupid and said, “Like my love,
I’m also dead.”
