Velvet blue

Swimming beneath the velvet blue

The waves carry me to you

But slowly the storm brews

To take me away from you

Tingling from the cold

I confess I am not bold

The journey is slow

And the fear grows

Out of nowhere he came

Eyes lit like flames

Teeth as if daggers

Strength I cannot gather

Caged in fear and doubt

There's time to turn around

I could leave you beneath the velvet blue

Swim away from you

Say I am sorry

I am truly

Or I could kill that Isonade

The cold steel of my blade

And hold you

Beneath the velvet blue

I weighed life and death

My precious final breaths

Thunder, fire and steel

Red and black streams

In the midst of a hurricane

And acid rain

The roar of mighty foes

Till one went cold

And a final mighty blow

Silence rolled

Somewhere in the deep

The legend finally sleeps

And here I am with you

On the velvet blue
