Those purpled summits
Mottled in harsh crags
Still blossomed in the sunlit vistas
Dreamily lay in thick mists
Silent, lording above clouds
Sermons in stones, streams, flowers and trees
The first temples illuminated in warmth with the alpenglow
Music within the ancient ones flows
The uprush of life sap
Quietly connects the deepest heart
The first Seers, channeled the winds apart
While nestled in Evergreen crowns
Here atop the world, the map of the stars
Cairns of the ones before
Watch and protect their lore
These beacons, where life began
To instill the wilds into the heart of man
Their grandeur rose above Alpine heights
Yet they sleep among the sea and land
The sky towers, behold the greatest of sights
