Messin' around. Rhyme and meter aren't my strength.

As I sit in quiet repose

It seems as though my circuitry froze

But that for certain, nobody knows

And this is the way that they found me

I'd taken a chance

A split-second glance

Into her eyes, and into a trance

And this is the state she had put me

Not for the least, a respectable try

It's not like I was trying to fly

I wouldn't steal a page from this Icarus guy

Such miscalculation still haunts me

All I desired was a quick little kiss

I'd only wanted to share with her this

An enocent gesture turned amiss

Now an eternity holds me
