Advent Wanderer

Poetry By: Enda P Treacy

Similar to 'Rojan's Bane', this tell the story of perhaps one of the most famous characthers of the stories i have writen: Erethar. The poem itself was worked into one of the chapters, told by a charachter to what became the main charachter (also to the reader) about Erethar in his explination.

Look into my face,

See what I see,

A windowless room that houses no light,

No escape, no words,

A sea of loathing and I float within,

Drowning deep only to rise again,

For you must ride on

Look into my mind,

Feel what I feel,

A shadow grows, the moon glows,

And I see tears,

A wanting, to love and embrace,

Torn by hatred and anger,

Stricken but not dead,

For you must ride on

Look into my soul,

Believe what I believe,

A thousand voices callingyour name,

Stand before them! Rise to the call!

The horn blows, the battles grows,

And the life of anger, at last it slows,

They raise you up and sing your praise,

And behold! Their love remains eternal,

And for that, you must ride on

Look into my anger,

Reap what it is I reap,

For the pain inside you grows-suffering and torment

And it longs to consume you!

The Sickness unending,

The blade shatters, the flag burns,

Your tears fall and your grave,

It yearns,

Your walls are breached and your spirit lost,

And at last, the ride is over
