The Patchwork Break up

Poetry By: EwanMac
Fantasy

I feel it is sometimes better to take the plunge and cut off the thing that is hurting two people, before it gets worse.

Here we are standing, on the back of broken dreams, holding things together, despite our bursting seams. The rain just isn't pouring, and the wind won't even howl, Eternity is over, but still the angels sing. Your stars have stopped their shining, and mine, they never did, Is this our perfect ending, to our dirty pretty thing? Your snow drifts and my sand dunes, are gathering with time, And here we are, we're drifting, humming sweet sadistic tunes. I can not see your eyes now, through your pewter shroud, and I'm crying out in rhythms, How, how, how? Lets let them burst, and spill out all our loathing, I will if you will, If only you go first.
