Count Time is a poem that was first written in August 1959 and revised in March 2011. It is part of the anthology entitled NONSENSE RHYMES. The poet wants you to know that time is very precious and we must set a time limit in whatever we do.

Live and let the Lord be your stay,
Take advantage of time all the way,
Advantage, yes, advantage of time.
Time moves, so fight with might and main,
For time misspent can never regain;
Count your time present, past and future.
Count time by the beat of the heart,
And recall what you did from the start;
Time is too precious, use it wisely.
Plan your work to reach a target,
And count the time using any gadget;
Time is moving on; be on alert!
