A Call From The Deep
I sit surrounded; chaos everywhere
Close my eyes and dream I'm there
Toes in the sand of a beautiful beach
It's so close now, within arms reach
The water beckons; it pulls me in
Feeling it crash against my soft skin
Do I dare leave this all behind?
The water, up to my waist now, clearing my mind
Yes, I can do this, leave it all in the past
Through another day this comfort should last
Up to my chest now, still pulling me in
Deeper and deeper; it's up to my chin
Take a deep breath, memorizing the view
Under I go; my comforts renew
Holding my breath; slowly counting to ten
Water relaxing and refreshing again
Open my eyes and I'm back in my bed
Once again ready to kiss my son's sweet head
