As I laid down in my bed last night, you appeared in my mind. Your loving sensuous eyes, that warm smile. I can see your nicely shaped hands, and face with all its features. How I long to know you. How I longed to hold you close to me. To have you lying here beside me, my arm around you as you lay your head upon my breast. Caressing, as my fingers lightly touch your ear, gently sliding to the side of your face, andstrolling across your forehead. I went to sleep with you last night, and I was holding you close to me, feeling the touch of your skin. You warmed my whole body.

I woke up this morning, and your eyes were looking deep inside my soul. Your hands caressing my face as my passion desired you with much ache. Feeling you upon me, I could see you, hear your soft masculine voice. I could see your breath soar down my body. Seeing your lips touch mine, devouring me completely until we were both breathless.

You were with me all day long. I was on the road and everywhere I turned, I could see your face. You were there in front of my eyes, consuming my whole day with your thoughts. Thoughts in which I possessed as well. At one point, coming to a stop sign in the road, stopping.....there you were, and I would smile. It was, as if, I could reach out and touch your hand, and place your hand in mine. Come with me and soar high in the sky like eagles. Let's make memories to cherish for always. I can feel your presence at this very moment. Soul-mates of passionate desire and Love? You with me all day long. You are with me this evening and will be during the night.

Where are you? Are you still with me? You possess my mind now, taking over any thoughts that have to make sense for my day.

The whispers that howl through the wind with echoes, reach me within the distance that keeps us apart. The whistling sound that rushes throught he trees at night carry your thoughts to me. Like a wizard with his magic that cast a spell upon me. Making my mind consumed with nothing but passion, love, and desire for you.

The loneliness I feel inside without your soft touch and caress. Your soothing voice that calms everything around my world. Having you close to me, having your eyes see into my soul, knowing how to consume my mind, and body with every thought you possess. Holding me captive until we enter each others world. Where are you?

As I lie awake in my bed, patiently waiting for your call. I imagine what your voice will sound like. How it will sweep through the phone line and take me captive with every breath you take. Time passes and no call. I slide my legs over the side of the bed, and sit on the edge. My eyes staring at the clock as if it hypnotized me into believing you were going to call at this very instance. Smiling, I get up and walk into the kitchen and reach for a glass. Pouring me a glass of cold water and heading back to the bedroom. I sit, and wait, looking at the phone, wanting it to ring. I lay back down and decide you will call tomorrow. But you were with me all day long.

Kred this piece of writing truly touched me. It is so beautifully expressed and written (sorry I missed it when first published) It drifts right into my mind - I often "await" my mother's cheery voice on the phone -no matter how ill she was she was always so genuinely happy to hear from you - "hello, hello, hello" she would say and you could feel her smile from miles away.
And the ending is so poignant, so achingly sad and true.
You have a wonderful knack of expressing deep feeling Kred, I hope you write some more soon.

Thank you Anna. There are many who's lives I've crossed through the years, and only a few who have made lasting impressions on me. Their kindness or how they've given their love so genuinely to others. The way you said your mother would say Hello, hello, hello? My grandfather was like that....but he would say "Well, Hello, Good Morning". No matter what time of the day it was. A very cheery voice, and always smiling. I miss him so. I've written a few things recently but haven't posted as of yet. Sometimes I feel like their not very good, or other's wouldn't enjoy them like I do. OR their too sappy, or perhaps nothing to do with stories or poetry. I mean what do you call thought from deep feelings? So my category is usually miscellaneous...LOL! I appreciate your comments. Thank you!

I could see your breath soar down my body >> that was my fav line. What is your fav line in this lit piece? I want to know.

I agree with AT. You have deep feelings that are well placed on paper.

Keep writing. And feeling. IT's drawing you closer.

I like that line as well....but my favorite line is this,

"You possess my mind now, taking over any thoughts that have to make sense for my day."

The addiction of such a great connection that fills me up within an entire day. A strong-Hold hard to break free.

Thank your for your encouragment

I have to agree with the others, you have a real talent of putting your feelings down on paper, which is really hard for some people. This is beautifully written and I think many people can relate to this (including myself). My favorite line is: "Where are you? Are you still with me? You possess my mind now, taking over any thoughts that have to make sense for my day." I've felt the same so many times. Thank you for sharing and please keep up the good work.

Thank you, as that is my favorite line as well.
Glad you liked it.

These are THE days of my life! Every word, line, sentence had me holding my breath, until the very end where just like so many of us you lay waiting. This story took my breath away, so sensual and full of longing. You've captured a piece of me and so many others I'm sure. ~ Nixie

I really appreciate your great comments! This piece is one of my favorites and I really put my whole heart into it. Thank you for your encouragement.

I was in this situation when i was in love with Sanjib ( my husband) ....I would sleep only if i would start thinking about our future together....

then after 5 years of dating, we got married and that magic broke....

How sad Pratibha, I'm so sorry. This writing was of a man that I just couldn't get out of my mind. He was there constantly. It was if, I could really see him, in my minds eye. Thanks for reading.

Very well done. It describes alot of people. There's nothing worse than loving someone you can't touch or see; but knowing they're with you in spirit always helps.
