Hail to thee great Aphrodite, goddess of the heart!
Behold your son Eros who commands emotion's dart.
Beautiful beyond words your cruelty is well known.
Chaos and destruction are the seeds you have sown.
Hail to thee goddess of love and beauty undefined,
enchantress of every heart and man's foolish mind.
Behold how your powers bring men to their knees.
Even the strongest of souls succumb to your disease.
Hail to thee Aphrodite goddess of love and heartache!
You spawn false affection and cause hearts to break.
Fairest of all women your beauty hides all those lies
and your heart of bitter coldness you cannot disguise.
