Cupid has disappeared, it seems,
On the earth is scratched by the beasts.
The words, thoughts and mad ideas,
He has enough hearts to gather.
He looked for love in books, but he found love in grounds,

In that gaze avidly and feasted.
He looked for love in bookstores, but he found love in the bar,
Flattened and mixed into a glass.
