"Gust of Wind"

Poetry By: RaisinGirl
Fantasy

another random fantasy poem...relate to it if you are able...I had some ideas for creating some kind of fantasy epic story someday, and this is supposed to be related to my other poem "EverDust"...it's just a little creative experiment...so enjoy...=D

I'm watching the pieces falling together

While you sit in silence and the king is overthrown

Someone steals the crown tonight

While you sit in silence and the harsh winds are blown

Gust of Wind dividing the fragments

Pulled apart at the seams, it seems you've been

Dragons roam freely and fire rains down

Pulled apart at the seams, rich in darkness, deemed

Can you blame yourself for nature?

I pity thee not, for you shall ride the storms out

Can you see without your eyes?

I pity thee not, for I shall have to crawl about

Under the stone so cold as winter

I hide from you, while you spread disaster

The lotus flower tries to make bloom

I hide from you, while you cater to the master

My sword and shield held in my hand

Protect me not, from the flame of your eyes

Ship to sail me in front of my view

Protect me not, so I gather myself in disguise

To return to the homeland of my youth

Such a welcome and an honour to be back home

I know I will soon begin life anew

Such a welcome and a longing to no longer be unknown...
