Effortlessly running through many vast areas of land,

shape shifting into human form, playing tricks; the sinister vulpine.

I would be the mischievous yōkai ようかい.

A supernatural phenomenon, a stalking apparition,

and once my vexatious work is done, I’ll celebrate and shout banzai! ばんざい.

If I was an anime character,

I would be the haunting shinigami しにがみ.

Waiting patiently to guide your soul, hungrily devoured in the afterlife,

definitely not a being to be confused with a kami かみ.

If I was an anime character,

I would be a stealthy ninja.

Fast and agile, kunai くないand bō ぼう proficient,

welcoming any threatening foe or sturdy challenger.

If I was an anime character,

I would be a voracious vampire.

With hunger insatiable until I found my loved one,

attention seeking humans, attracted to my cynosure.

If I was an anime character,

I would be an enigmatic wizard.

With esoteric element based talents,

protecting others being my highest regard.

If I was an anime character,

I would be the komainu こまいぬ; a shrine guardian.

Warding off the fear and evil in innocent hearts,

my protection aeonian.
