If I could put the sun in my pocket
And carry it all of my days
If I could hide away in a locket
All the stars that I can gaze
If I could play marbles with the moon
And hold the oceans in my mouth
If I could paint the sunset each afternoon
All colors of the rainbow without a doubt
Then you will feel the warmth of the sun
Every time that I am around
And the starlight will never be gone
But will in all places abound
Then the moon will reflect your face
When I show you my locket so dear
And never will you be a case
Of someone who with out water despair
But paintings of beauty you will see
When you look toward the west of me
But I cannot do such amazing things
I can only reach the hearts of my children
I can only invent things for kings
I can only love all of my friends
I can only create music of enchantment
I can only give my life for what I believe
I can only aspire to be more decent
And I can all things with my mind achieve
