Death is a lot like before you were born

stretched out,

yawning over lands,

my arms went on forever

To grasp the clouds and seas in hand

To hold myself together.

There was never a when

when I was not

Everything was the Now

But now I am, and am apart

I've become separate somehow

I cannot be anymore the sun beyond the stars

I have two hands now

ten parts

And I cannot reach as far

And for all that I know and do remember,

there's a universe I've forgot.
