Sunlight shining through the window,

Highlighting your hair,

golden rays hit your cheek.

I wonder what it would be like

to be with you.

You sit next to me,

You catch my eye,

Staring into my soul.

A second in our own place

a broken bond when you look away.

I have known you for years,

but we have never been close,

Yet I feel as if you will always be apart of me.

saying hey to me isn't enough.

I want to feel your arms around my waist,

your hand running through my hair,

your breath on my neck,

your heart near mine.

I want to see you smile at me everyday

and to knw that you care as much as i do.

I want what others have.

someone I can tell all my secrets to,

someone who I will let get close,

and someone I can trust.

I want your here beside me,

but if I have to choose between

never seeing you again,

or just looking at you,

I would just look at you

with the sunlight streaming through your hair

and caressing your cheek.
