Sometimes, I Wish

Sometimes I want to fight; sometimes I want to yell,

Sometimes I want to tell the whole world to go to hell,

Sometimes I want to run; sometimes I want to scream,

Sometimes I wish reality was just a bad dream,

Sometimes I want to blend; sometimes I want to transform,

Sometimes I watch the clouds and wish I was a storm,

Sometimes I want to hate; sometimes I want to love,

Sometimes I want freedom, a white turtle dove,

Sometimes life is simple; sometimes too much to carry,

Sometimes I'm too afraid to share the broken bones I bury,

Sometimes I want to fly away and float with the stars,

Sometimes I stitch these wounds through battle ugly scars,

Sometimes I want to smile; sometimes I want to cry,

Sometimes I want to shut down, close my eyes and die,

Sometimes I listen to the rain wishing I could feel the snow,

Sometimes I really wish there was a pot of gold at the end of the rainbow.
