Bittersweet Beauty
Eyes that flicker more then the flames of fury,
With colour so sallow their a ghostly portrait,
Their intensity matched by only the devil,
The care they contain never breached.
A mouth that trembles in the sign of life,
That flares when brushed by its conflicting brother,
It’s fullness denied by the unperturbed victim,
Ecstasy fades while the hunger thrives.
Skin like velvet, smooth yet firm,
Pale as thy eyes deceive,
A touch that destroys each contacted mortal,
The unedifying danger concealed.
