SCENE ONE, GOD GIVES COMMANDS
Camera pans over quiet suberb. A pillar of light forms in the middle of a cul-de-sac. Camera goes to Leann. Flash of light on her face. Leann opens her eyes. Camera goes to Melonie. Same. Xena. We see the three girls emerge from their houses and walk towards the pillar of light. All three in unison reach out their hands.
God: Welcome, my chlildren. You three have been chosen to be my messangers. Freedom.
A pillar of light surrounds Leann. Leann shuts her eyes
God: Benevolence.
a pillar of light surrounds Melonie. Melonie shuts her eyes
God: And Chastity.
Light surrounds Xena. Xena shuts here eyes
God: You three shall carry messages to my prophets, and defend the innocent from the Devil. Do you accept?
all three open their eyes.
(In unison) all three: Yes.
There is another flash of light. Camera is in Xena's room, focused on her in her bed. Light fades as she opens her eyes and sits up, rubbing at them. She turns on a lamp. She is wearing a pair of dark blue sweat pants and a black cami. her hair is chin length and black, her eyes are hazel. The clock beside her reads 5:30 am
Xena: Man, that was some dream.
We hear ten steps, as if some one is walking up stairs.
Xena's Mom: Xena! Get up! You'll be late for work!
Xena: UGH!
As Xena groans, she swings her legs off the bed and grabs some clothes on a dresser next to the bed. She walks into her adjoining bathroom, on her way grabbing a pair of dark blue converse and turning on a stereo system. The song 'Walking on Air' by Kerli comes on, and Xena starts to sing along. She is now dressed in a pair of blue jeans, heavily worn and scrawled on with sharpies, a black shirt from the 9th annual International Day from 2005. She twirls out of the bathroom just as the music cuts off. She picks up a black messenger bag, picks up a book that we see is 'Dracula' By Bram Stoker. She tosses it into the bag. Camera follows her down the stairs, and another camera picks up as she dashes across her kitchen, grabs a piece of toast and slings her messenger bag on her back.
Xena (Chastity)
Xena: Bye Mom!
She walks out to an old moutain bike, white with green and pink on it, blood stains in a few places, and slings her leg over it and kicks off on the curb. Camera follows her as she bikes along to an old breakfast cafe called Muncio's (Mun see oe s) she swings off her bike as it comes to a stop. She rests it along side the decrepit shop and pulls a burgendy apron out of her bag. She walks in while tying the apron around her waist. She walks to the back room and camera sees her putting on mascara, and lipgloss. She walks out a few minutes later with a black button down shirt on unbuttoned to the middle of her bust. Her hair is up in a sloppy pony tail.
Xena walks over to a punch in box and pulls the lever, kissing her card. She walks over to the kitchen bar and strikes up a conversation with the cook, Melonie.
Xena: Hey, Mel! How are you?
Melonie is dressed in a light pink pinstriped button down shirt with puffy sleeves. her bright red hair is pulled up in a very curly ponytail, and held back with a red bandana. She has bright blue eyes and freckles all over her cheeks. She turns and leans on the bar, tossing a note pad to Xena. She grins and kicks her foot up, displaying a pair of nice dark blue jeans, and a pair of strappy black high heels.
Melonie (Benevolence)
Melonie: Just fine! You?
Xena glances at the heels and looks at Melonie strangly.
Xena: Great! Um, Mel, shouldn't you be wearing something a bit more sturdy? Motions to the heels.
Melonie:Yeah, but Kookie said I could. I mean, I'm only running the industrial powered washing machine...
Xena continues the sentance Xena: That runs at two hundred twenty degrees fahrenheit...
Melonie and Xena: And could possibly melt my (your) face off.
The pair grin at eachother and a bell rings in the front.
Xena: That's my cue!
Xena walks off to tend to the customer and Melonie puts on a pair of thick rubber gloves. Camera spins with a time lapse until about seven thirty. Muncio's is packed and Melonie and Xena walk over to the punch machine.
Melonie: Hey, do you want a ride to school?
Xena: Sure. You got room for my facist killing machine?
Melonie (laughing): Yes, the beast can have a lift in the back. Let's just hope that my gas guzzler doesn't give out.
The pair laugh and walk out to an old 1980's chevy pickup.

Xena throws her 'facist killing' bike in the back and climbs into the passenger side
Xena: Shotgun!
Melonie giggles and revs the engine. It spultters to life and dies promplty. Melonie groans and grabs a tool kit from beside the driver's seat.
Melonie: Why does it do this every flipping morning?
We hear some scuffling and Melonie pops the hood. We hear some pounding noises and a swift curse word. Melonie slams the hood back down, her shirt stained with motor oil and dust.
Melonie: NOW! Let's see if this thing likes us today!
She revs the engine once more and it splutters to life once more. Black clouds of smoke issue from the exaust pipe. Melonie backs out of her space and tilts her mirror, driving off. Camera follows them onto the highway.
Xena: I had the strangest dream last night, ya know?
Melonie: Really? Me to!
Xena: What about?
Melonie: You really want to know?
Xena: If you don't tell me, I'll tell you mine!
Melonie: Well, I was in the cul-de-sac, you know, yours? And there was this bright light. Something about us being messengers, and freedom, and benevolence, and chastity. You were there, and me, and Leann I think.
Xena: Leann?
Melonie: Leann.
Xena: That's pretty bizarre. Mine was the same.
Melonie looks at Xena incrediously and pulls into the school parking lot.
Melonie: WHAT?
Xena absentmindedly scratches a hollow next to her right shoulder blade
Xena: I know. Like I said, bizarre. Ow...
Melonie starts scratching at a similar hollow on her left.
Both girls get out of the pick up, Xena grabs her bike and rolls it over to the bike rack. As she clicks the lock shut, she doubles over in pain.
Xena Screams loudly. (VERY LOUDLY)
Two nubs start poking out of her shirt, slowly growing in size, breaking free in a few minutes. A crowd gathers to watch.
Two large blood colored wings burst out of Xena's back, ripping her shirt off. Xena sits there, her arms clasped to her chest, gasping in pain. We see Melonie run over and lay a hand on her friend's shoulder. Melonie doubles up in pain and the same happens to her, only her wings are an off white (yellow tinged)
