Looking over at Carmen I felt a longing fill my heart. I imagined myself walking up to her and finally talking to her.

‘don’t think about it Alex’ Cole sighed as he took a glance down the hallway.

Nodding I knew what he meant it was a waste to think of such things. My kind only could bred with our kind it was against our law to take it further then friend ship with the humans. If you couldn’t mate there was no point in growing attached to them.

But there wasn’t a way to prevent yourself from imprinting on them wasn’t there? I thought helplessly as I looked away.

‘all you can be to her is a friend, why let it get involved?’ Cole asked.

‘I don’t need her’ I hissed as I decided to push and lock that thought away. ‘I have Kennia’

Looking at him I longed to have the will power to ignore my imprinted one. But then again Lillie was different from the others I could tell. Everything about her was amazing simply mind blowing.

‘that’s good’ I managed as I turned and walked away making my way to my class figuring I could get there early I wasn’t in the mood to talk to anyone. Its been to long sense I have seen Lillie. Its not good to go this long with out her.

Walking into the class I was stunned to fined her seated in the front row her head bent down looking at a notebook her hand gliding across the page. Before I could get a word out she looked up and smiled. ‘hey’

What are you doing here? I thought to her.

‘I switched schools’ she answered with a smile. ‘Aren’t you happy to see me?’ she asked when I hadn’t answered her a small frown creasing her full pink lips.

Licking my lips I shrugged. Your not suppose to be here Lillie its to dangerous.

But I thought it would be easier on you, so you don’t have to visit every weekend-

I told you not to come here! I snapped at her anger filling me as well as insecurity with many of my kind they would be able to tell rather quickly putting her in danger.

But I thought sense- she began her voice hurt and confused

I don’t care what you thought Lillie I told you not to and you didn’t listen, you could get hurt here! I watched her flinch back and away at me fear was heavy in the air.

‘O hey Cole’ Kesha coed as she walked into the class room touching my arm as she strutted by. I had such a blast last night with you’ she continued as she placed her book down at her seat her eyes turned to Lillie who looked at me with wide eyes. Shit.

‘not now Kesha’ I began

‘I cant help it you made me feel so-so amazing!’ Kesha laughed obviously seeing I didn’t want Lillie to hear.

Lillie bit onto her bottom lip tears began to form in her clear blue eyes. You cheated on me?!

No Lillie its not what you think! I panicked hoping she would believe me.

‘do you think you could ya know stop by again tonight? I just bought a new night gown I’m sure you would like it-‘ Kesha moved to me and ran a hand down my chest.

Pain ripped though me knocking the air out of my lungs. Lillie looked at me with betrayed eyes. ‘Il just leave you two alone’ she stammered as she bolted out of the class room leaving her stuff there

Tears stung my eyes as I briskly walked away how could he do that to me?! Cheating?! How long had it been going on?!

‘hey’ a voice called out I didn’t bother stopping I walked straight out of the school my chest sore and throbbing I didn’t know what to do.

The man I loved had just thrown it into my face breaking my heart into little shreds.

‘I want to go home!’ I almost screamed into my cell as I called Logan.

‘whats wrong?!’ he gasped.

‘I don’t want to talk bout it’I managed.

‘lillie’ his voice called after me.

‘Logan please hurry!’ I pleaded.

‘first day at a new school cant be that hard lillie’

‘I WANT TO GO HOME NOW! I DON’T CARE IF I HAVE TO WALK!’ I Shrieked

‘baby’ he touched my arm.

Don’t touch me! i jerked away quickly. Don’t you dare touch me!

Baby. He continued as he touched my arm again. Cold hot fire ran up my arm from where his hand touched me, my heart trembled as I felt it scream in agony. Pulling back I stumbled over the curb. ‘Lillie’ Cole reached out for me.

Gathering myself I held my head high. ‘You-you made your choice Cole, I- I- this will be the last time you will ever see me’ I stammered.

‘Lillie please its not what you think!” he pleaded.

‘its exactly what I think, its no surprise really, you hadn’t visited in a while I figured something like this would happen between us’ I answered uneasily as I continued to back away from him. The more distance between us the better.

‘Lillie you know I love you’ he preceded as he stepped towards me.

‘do you? Do you really?’ I demanded.

‘How bout we talk on the side of the road its not safe for you to be standing in the middle of the road’

‘don’t tell me what to do, Good bye Cole’ I turned and began to walk away, I didn’t know this town that well but I was sure I could get away.

You c ant really be doing this Lillie, you know we cant be apart. His voice filled me.

I don’t care anymore, i don’t want to ever see you again! I answered brokenly tears rolling down my face as I stomped towards downtown.

Your fighting it I know you are! Please! Please Lillie you need to come back! He pleads.

Pushing him out I looked around I wasn’t that far away the road was busy. Life seemed dim and broken to me no longer holding any light to me. I had lost him and I was alone again. I had nothing. Nothing what so ever. I thought bitterly as I clenched my hands I waited for a good size truck to come speeding down the road. Gulping I stepped into its path at the last minute. The impact of the car slamming into me I hear screams and glass shattering, breaks squealing in protest. My body goes num. my vision is blurred as I struggle to look blood is every where I hear screaming and wailing. I don’t understand.

“LILLIE” his voice echoes through the air as I slip away. Everything goes quiet as a blinding light engulfs me. The pain goes away, as a startling peace goes over me.
