This is my entry for Dragonssong's 3rd challenge. I entered her challenge twice and was given these two topics: the word "transformation" and the theme "What you become is not always what u were meant to be." I decided to coincide the two into one story. Enjoy your reading!!

I watched as he slowly approached me, he looked so good in the moonlight, his short black hair glistening, and his steps slow and lithe. I waited as he approached, oh so slowly; quite aware of how ready my body was for him to take. When he finally did reach me I was so hot I felt like I would explode.
Our lips were the first to meet, then the rest of our bodies. His lips were soft and warm on mine as I shivered unconsciously as his hands slid down my body to encase the warm flesh of my stomach underneath my blouse. I sighed softly as his lips slid down my jaw sown to my throat. I was in complete ecstasy and so ready for him when I felt a sudden pain in my neck. Before I knew what was happening, Gulliver was sinking his teeth into my throat. I felt the blood pour into his mouth and heard the excited slurping as he swallowed my blood.

Just when I thought I would die he surprises me yet again. He licks the side of my neck where he bit me and then bites me again, just a couple centimeters down from the first bite. Instead of feeling my blood pour out I could feel something being forced into my wound, little by little. It seemed like ages before he was finally done. Once again he licked the wound with his tongue, which felt rough against the tender skin.

Gulliver removed his mouth from my neck and backed up a few steps. I looked up at him, not understanding why I wasn't dead. He seemed to know what I was thinking for he said "You will change soon enough, and when your transformation is complete, you are to come find me so we can begin your training". I attempted to ask "What training?" but before I could he turned and walked into the shadows, disappearing completely.

I started to walk towards the shadows, wanting to follow him but before I could an overwhelming pain overtook my body and I fell to the ground, writhing and screaming. It felt like my body was being torn to pieces, thankfully I soon blacked out and fell deep into an unconsciousness state.

When I finally awoke again it was nearing dawn and the sun was just starting to rise, I had no memory of what had happened to me except that I was attacked and that my attacker informed me I needed to locate him so that I could begin my "training". Now what my training would include was a mystery to me. I looked around the park, my vision exceptionally keen in the dark early morning light, and decided to head home and take a shower.

I looked down and saw that my jeans were torn to shreds and my blouse was quite bloody on the right side. Somehow I knew that I was not raped but something horrendous had happened to me, I just didn't know what. I arrived at my house soon after and I went straight to my bathroom. When I looked in the mirror I almost fainted with shock, surprise, fear, and delight, all at the same time.

My hair was no longer a dull brown but a long, shiny luxurious black. My face had undergone quite a transformation into a vision of beauty, with high defined cheek bones, and a small curved chin. My eyes were a gorgeous shade of dark blue infused with a silver lining around the pupil. Whatever had happened to me, I sure liked the effects.

Somehow I knew that my body had changed as well and when I stripped out of all my clothing I was not disappointed. I now had a lean toned body, with clear stomach muscles, my legs and calves were firm with muscle, it seemed there was not an ounce of fat to be found on my body. After spending the next 10 minutes examining my new body I hopped into the shower, loving the warmth on my skin.

Soon after my shower I got changed into a more comfortable outfit that I had found laying on my bed. I did not recognize it but it fit and felt nice. Out of no where came this overwhelming feeling of exhausted ness and I soon fell asleep on my bed.

When I finally awoke the sky was dark so I knew I had slept all day. I walked out to my front porch, feeling a sudden need to be outside in the fresh air and found that, even though it was dark outside, I could see clearly, like it was the middle of the day. My heart started racing as I looked out over the hills and decided to find my attacker I slipped into the woods and into the shadows, looking for someone, but knowing not who it was. ………

300 years later
"Schuyler! Wait for me!" Called a voice behind me. I glanced behind me as I rushed into the building. Running to catch up with me was my annoying assistant, Drake. I ignored him and hurried on. I wanted to get to my office as soon as possible; I had yet another lead on Gulliver. Inside there were a ton of people going from here to there trying to get to their offices or going other places. I looked around, trying to find Drake, and sighed in relief. I had lost him.

Knowing it wouldn't be long until Drake found me again I sprinted up the stairs 3 at a time, heading to my office. When I got to my office I checked the note board and saw that there were three messages just waiting for me to read. I glanced at the names and saw that two were from Drake and one was from my mother. I ignored the messages and went straight towards my computer. I quickly turned on the computer and waited for it to load. Good morning miss Schuyler. How may I be of service? Asked the computer, who I named Charlie.

I smiled at the computer and told it to get into the vampire watch network after making sure it had a secure connection. “Charlie, can you please hack into the Vampire Watch network? Please make sure you secure a connection, I don’t want anyone knowing we are in the archives.” Charlie didn’t say anything; he only hummed as he did what he was asked. While Charlie did his job I went over to the message board and took down the messages. I read the ones from Drake first. The first one was just a reminder that I had to go to the luncheon with the company's president on Saturday and the second note was nothing more than another assignment.

Miss Schuyler, I have hacked into the Vampire Watch Network. What would you like me to find? I looked up as Charlie told me he made it in, I thought for a second before answering. I had no idea what to look for. "Umm, look for any references to a vampire named Gulliver please." I told him. (Strange I know, considering a computer a him.) Search confirmed. Processing search now. I smiled to myself, not answering Charlie.

I walked over to the bookshelf on the west side of the room and gazed at all the different titles, looking for one in particular. I found the book, on the top shelf, right end. It has no title and was very slim, but I knew what was in it. It was my journal. You see, I have been alive for exactly 326 years. The year I got attacked and transformed by Gulliver was the year I turned 26. This year would be my 327th birthday. That's old, I know. I opened the journal to a new page, grabbed a pen, and started writing.

Today was a good day. Charlie found the information I needed to find Gulliver, now I can leave and find out just what my training involved. I will pack only the essentials and I will definitely bring my journal with me so that I may keep track of my travels……

I kept writing in the journal when Charlie interrupted, “Uhh. Miss Schuyler? There is a visitor here to see you…he tracked our signal when I was looking at the archives. He says he ha some information that be vital to you…Should I let him up or should I send him away?”

“Go ahead and let him in. Send him to the parlor and let him know that I will be there in a minute.” I told Charlie. I got up and walked to my room.

This is where Selena's journey began and where mine, Cressida's, ends. I will write the rest soon and I hope you like what I have done so far. Please be sure to let me know what you think!!!
