In a world full of legends and tales which are so old that nobody knows about them anymore, there were many mysterious things to be found, from Maple Forest just minutes outside of Takaaki Kingdom to the Forest of Strangest Legends.
Tern was a boy who was interested in rare and unusual plants and flowers, and had been for most of his life. He liked relaxing at the library and reading Rosa Tellstone books, the author of the books being an ancient warrior who had carved the way to this side of the world and had seen many strange things and had fought many monsters while leading and caring for her soldiers.
The gates of Takaaki Kingdom were locked, for it was forbidden for a citizen to leave the city walls , for their own safety. There were many monsters out there in the forest which had been documented by Rosa Tellstone.
But one day, Tern found a new book by Rosa Tellstone which told of a legend, the 'Legend of the Shell of Prophesy', which was about a shell that could speak into the ears of a person and talk to them just as a person speaks to another person.
He tried to find a way out of town, and one day, met a butterfly. The butterfly wasn't afraid of him, so he let the butterfly lead him into a secret passage to the forest. In the forest, the butterfly led him to a sword. And then something marvelous and unbelievable happened: the butterfly MORPHED into a beautiful girl.
“Hello, I am Rosa”, the girl said.
“No, it can't be, really? YAAY!” Tern cried with joy.
Later, his butterfly led him to the shell of prophesy through the maple woods, with clean, spring aromas drifting from the trees, with leaves on the ground.
And when Tern found the shell of prophesy with Rosa, he was forever greatful, for the shell did speak into the ears of this curious boy and told him:
'Your destiny is to find rare and unusual flowers which can cure illnesses and sicknesses. I will guide you to them, and then to the people who need them. Yours truly, The Shell of Prophesy.”
And long after, each summer, Tern, the boy who loved flowers, did find 'miracle plants' to cure illnesses and sicknesses, fighting many monsters along the way.
