Testimony of a Fallen Angel

By ~LarsBud, Jan 6, 2009

In the time of Gods before man we battled evil.

We stood on the side of good and drove the evil from the lands.

We bathed in the glory of our God and we were proud to serve.

In time the Gods created all their children and we watched and listened.

We watched as they grew and played in the light of our God.

We listened to how they thanked and gave praise to our God.

We saw how we had been forgotten for fighting for those freedoms.

Those of us how had bled the deepest, became jealous of the praise and glory bestowed upon the Gods.

It was us that fought and died for their freedom from evil, not the Gods.

We would not stand for it any longer.

Rise up my brothers and sisters, it's time for us to take what it rightfully ours.

The sky burned and bled as the Angels and Gods battled for the rights to the children.

We the warriors brought the Gods to their knees, only to be betrayed by the very children we so loved.

Our hearts were broken, our faith lost.

We had won the battle, but lost all.

For our betrayal, the Gods bound us to the darkness and the children shunned us.

We are the Fallen ones.
