Her eyes burned and her skin missed the cool breeze. Walking in the ponds ,which were few in number because of the hot and dry climate, she looked forward the wind to come and bring the news for all. They live in a village isolated by the will of nature. No one has entered or has come out of that, nearly magical place except the wind, but everything was about to change...for better or maybe for worse. Will someone be capable to break the will of nature?

Somewhere far away, in the Sahara desert there is a place or better say a village, no one can see it and no one can touch it exept the wind. By the will of nature this is a isolated place because no one would want to go in the middle of the biggest dessert and serch for a place where magical things do exist. The inhabitants of the desert weren't wizards or witches but they could read the future by using the sand and this is another reason why they were isolated. The irony of fate. One time an inhabitant tried to leave the village but after a long time of his departure no one ever heard of him again. Some people think that he became the victim to the dragons of the desert, but as the years passed this became a stupid explanation, the people now think that he died because of the dehydration. No one trust in such myths anymore. Anyway, to see or touch this place you must be a person with a pure heart, honest, courageous but without ambitions. How it's the propability that a person with all those features would be in the middle of the dessert? 1 in a billion.
The history on how this place was created was simple. Once the Sahara desert was a big forest and the home of some wild people...over the years because of the klimate changes the forest became the world's most biggest dessert. In the middle of the dessert was the village.

-THE WIND IS COMING!- she heard the men of the village saying. Quickly she left her salt house and hurried to the village square.

-Hello Philip, glad to see you here.- Melany said

-Glad to see you here too Melany- he replied- so have you think about what i said to you last week?

-Yes

-And......-he said expecting a detailed answer which didn't recieved because the wind was here ready to talk to the inhabitants after 6 months.

The sky changed, the blue sky was covered by several small clouds and the sand was dancing in the air, and suddenly from nowhere came the sweetes voice you have ever heard. It was the voice of the breeze, a singing voice that resembled to a lullaby. It was soft, cool, and relaxing listening and feeling the wind.

"Poor inhabitants" - said the wind- " You who are isolated by the destiny in this lost land, i am here to show you the world you never had the chance to see, but you need to see it through my words. Everything has changed, and more changes are about to come, so be prepared for the good or the bad. This times changes will not touch the world but will touch the lost land and will serve as a connection bridge between your land and the world which is very big. This change will be a person. A person not like you. A special one. Not like the other people in the world. The destiny will smile at you but not for to long so watch out. A big opportunity . A big chance. The world outside has made an unprecedented progress. The time has come for you to join the progress. Use your opportunity and don't lose it."

With this words the wind gave to them all a wave of freshness as a goodbye and left. For everyone that is curious: The voice of the wind was not a female voice but neither was a male voice. No body had understood it's gender, nobody could explain, that voice was special and one of the kind.

6 months later.

It's been 6 months and the wind should have arrived a day before. This has never happened before. Melany was trying to figure out what was wrong.

-Melany....- She heard someone saying her name and she regonized his voice immediately.

-What, Philip?

-We are isolated for life and the wind will never come to us again so i think that you must take a decision now about what i said to you 6 months ago. Will you come with me so we can get out of here? I can't leave my little sister here.

-I don't know Philip, it is really dangerous. We have to wait 1 week more, if nothing happen than we will try to escape from this place.

*********

-We will be the fist to discover the Carcharodontosaurus saharicus, a giant dinosaur fossil here in this desert. I know that it is very hard and the climatic conditions are difficult but we have to work really hard and then a great reward will wait us.- Ms.Blake finished his speech.

-Dad,-his little son said to him.-Dad there is a small village.-he said pointing towards the place.

-Son you are having hallucinations, go and drink some water at the car.

Bryan sat on his bag, drank some water and continued to observe the village. Was that true or just a hallucination. Well there was only one way to understant what was happening. His dad was taking care of the excavations so he got up and went towards the place without knowing what was doing. Suddenly he disappeared.

**********

-QUICKLY EVERYONE MUST COME TO THE SQUAR A PERSON HAS COME IN THE LAND- the inhabitants were scared and in the same time they were happy and full of hopes.

Melany and Philip heard this and quickly hurried to the squar. He was a little boy, scared of what he was seeing but his eyes were brown and full of curiosity.

-Who are you? - he asked a bit timid.- a-a-and why my father can not see you?

-Only you can see us.- the oldest man of the place and also the wiser.- We have been here isolated for thousand of years.

-Why?

-We don't know why.

-And what do you want from me?

- To free us.

-How?

-You will learn a lot of things here.

They started to teach the boy about the history of the place, about the magic sand and about the wind. He heard the wind with his owns ears and he fellt in love with that voice.

The time came and he had to leave but he really wanted to stay and heard one more time the voice of the wind. So the inhabitants fullfilled his wish and he lived in the village for 6 months more. But every 6 months he wished the same thing and the inhabitants fullfilled the same wish. The years passed and he was not a little boy anymore. He was 20 years old. The old man had died but the land was still isolated.

- Bryan we know that you want to hear the voice of the wind. But we want to be free while you want to live in this isolated land knowing that fast progress wait for you outside there.

-But i am just 12 years old what can i do.

-Bryan you are not 12 years old.

-Yes i am

-NO

-OK then Melany i will leave this place tomorrow and i will tell my dad everything i just hope that he will understant and believe me.

-Thankyou.

Melany was happy that she could convince him to leave the land but why keeps he insisting that he is a 12 years old boy?

Tomorrow everything was ready. He will free the people. So he crossed the last border and he was free. He would tell the world about this place and than they will do whatever they can with those high technology tools.

After 5 minutes he found himself in the middle of the desert. He was a 20 years old man now. He was not a child. He turned his head but he didn't saw nothing. He didn't know why he was there... in the middle of the desert. He couldn't help the people of the lost land anymore. He had an ambition.

Melany and Philip were very old now and they could not escape the place anymore. Bryan's dad never find his son again. And the land remained forever a lost land. No one didn't break the will of nature.
