"There is no way on Earth that I could be one of you!" I shouted to Exavier. The black streak that was intertwined with his long, light brown hair was now dangling over his eyes. The golden brown gems that were fixed upon his face were so beautiful and pleading that it was difficult for me to be mad at him right now. All of this that he was telling me though, it made absolutely no sense.

"Isabelle, please listen to me. You are a Day-Wolf. Surely you have noticed that you were a bit different. You can run faster than anyone on the track team, you can hear someone sneeze two rooms over, and you sight should be so clear that you can see a squirrel moving at the top of a tree," he explained to me. I was shocked. How could he know so much about me? He had it all right, except for one thing.

"You got two out of three right you moron. I can barely see anything without my contacts. I am as blind as a bat," I shouted at him. Exavier looked at me puzzled. He didn't know what to think about what I had just told him. He came over to me, gently grabbed my chin, and looked straight into my eyes. I had to hold my breath because if I hadn't, I would have been breathing heavily into his face. I was so mesmerized by him, I stood absolutely still.

"Strange. The color isn't right either. Hmmm." He kept his gaze on me as he stood there thinking for a few seconds. "Hold one, I have an idea."

I looked at him funny, "And that would be?" I asked him as I silently let out all the air I held in my lungs.

"Close your eyes for me." He said in a deep voice.

"What? Why should I have to…" He cut me off.

"Just do it." I did as he pleased and closed both of my eyes. I felt his thumb brush my cheek. It gave me goose bumps, but what he did next sent a shiver down my spine. Exavier leaned in and pressed his lips gently against my right eyelid. He kissed it softly and did the same to the other. I fought back hard to keep the heat from coming to my face as he pulled away from me.

"You can open them now, Isabelle." Exavier said softly. I opened my eyes slowly, being startled at first when everything was blurry. I realized in an instant that it was my contacts bothering my eyes. I took both of them out and looked to see Exavier standing in front of a large mirror.

"Is that better?" he asked me, giggling at my reaction. I shook my head slightly, still wondering what exactly what it was he had done.

"What's the mirror for?" I asked him. He stepped aside to give me a full view of myself. I looked the same. I didn't see what it was that he was trying to show me. Then I looked at my eyes. They had changed from the deep forest green that I had all my life, to a beautiful bluish grey color. I gazed in amazement. I was so hypnotized by my eyes that I didn't notice Exavier standing behind me.

"So beautiful," he whispered into my ear. His soft voice and warm breath had startled me and made me jump a little. I looked up at him and saw an amused grin on his perfect face.

"I'm sorry. Did I scare you?" he asked me in a playful tone. I held up my fingers like I was pinching the air.

"Maybe just a little'" I told him. Exavier laughed at that. He pulled towards him. I was so close that it was hard for me to tell whose heartbeat I was feeling. Exavier reached for the back of my neck. His fingers had laced through my long, thick hair. He tilted my head up and came closer to my face. I closed my eyes as he came even closer. I waited for the moment when our lips touched.

He kissed me softly, waiting with his lips on mine to see what I would do. I kissed him back gently. I could feel his cheeks heat up as he started to kiss me more. The kiss had gotten deeper and more and more passionate. I felt his lips trace the outline of my mouth, asking for a little more. I didn't know what to think at first. This had never happened to me before. I had never loved someone that much.

I gave in. My lips parted and we both intertwined in the kiss. I reached my arms up and held on to his neck. The whole thing felt like magic to me. I had never felt anything like it before. That's why it saddened me when he started to pull away.

I looked up at Exavier and was immediately confused. Instead of a loving look on his face, there was a big goofy grin.

"What exactly is so funny?" I asked him. He turned me around and put me in front of the mirror again. I think I got what he was smiling at. My entire face had changed its appearance.

My eyes were still the grey color. My hair was still dark brown too, but there was a long streak of white along my bangs. My canines had turned to sharp points, like dog fangs. The bone structure had changed a little. I still looked human, but there were faint traces of canine.

I looked back at Exavier. He smiled at me and put his arms around my waist.

"The kiss of you fated mate brings forth your true form," he reminded me. I smiled. I wrapped my arms around his waist and held him close. He was mine, and I knew he would be forever. My fated wolf boy, and I his she wolf.

"I love you Isabelle," I heard him whisper.

"I love you too Exavier"
