I could feel the wind on my face, and see the trees rushing past me , I looked up –nothing-- , “we must be winning” I whispered to Starr , my horse, i suddenly herd wings beating , i looked up to see a massive green dragon soar through the sky above me ,“damn it” I murmured as i softly kicked Starr . So she would go faster, Starr whipped around the corner the end of the forest came in view, the end of the race , I kicked Starr again softly but more firmly , Starr leaped over a fallen log and began gaining speed I saw she shadow of Sebell's dragon and then I came on it, since the sun was behind us , dawning , the shadow was in front of her,so we where winning. A tongue of fire licked the trees to the left of us,“HAY NO FIRE” I screamed as the green dragon over took me again.“sorry Sasuke“ Sebell yelled back,“your just lucky your my sister” I shouted, I exited the forest a full meter behind Sebell.

I landed Emerald on a grassy hill the light green grass looked good next to the dark metallic green hard scales of Emeralds body ,I saw a bald man walk up to Sasuke and help him off his horse, they started walking up to me, “hey Sasuke that makes about a gazillion wins for me and um none for you”I taunted him “shut up” he shouted back “Sebell very good, but we must hurry the race begins in two hours and you must get ready” the man advised,he had a old and wise voice, “ok daddy thank you daddy” I said poking my tongue at Sasuke.“I could have won “he snapped

It was hot in all the gear, the helmet , the fire proof body suit's I saw the other 20 dragons , and their racers lined up ready to start the race , everyone knew this would be a fierce race not only because only the top 2 continued, but it was 3 lap's and in this track not being a long one laps where over quickly . I heard a bang and all the dragons shot off the mark twisting and turning to get to lead spot, we cut right over the sandy dunes , a pink dragon clawed at emerald he returned with a white-hot blast of fire , scorching the pink dragons glossy skin turning it an ugly black, the rider shocked pulled out of the race “good only nineteen more to go” I sighed

I was coming second when it happened , a blue dragon swooped besides me the rider sat up balancing his speed ,I flew faster but he managed to match my speed and keep balance, he pulled a small bamboo straw out of his pocket, emerald was too focused on the dragon ahead to notice what the sinister blue dragon and its rider was doing the rider loaded the straw with a dart, he took of his helmet the first thing I saw was his satanic blue eyes and his slightly blue skin, he raised the bamboo to his mouth and blew into it firing a dart into emeralds neck , emerald let off a deep moan and lost speed , the blue dragons rider let out a soft laugh and put his helmet back on , then he returned to the lay down position and flew off with frightening speed , emerald started descending losing speed and descending , his massive wings stopped flapping and went to his side, he was going to sleep , his body fell through the air until it slammed into a sand dune below the other racers , I got up and took off my helmet, the sunlight was surprisingly bright, I looked up and saw the blue dragon battling with the one in first place , they were clawing and exhaling fire , but suddenly the black dragon stopped and fell down it wings folding in leaving the blue dragon to fly on and win the race.

I poked at my peas and dried mushroom with my fork, no one had said much since the crash, fortunately Sebell was ok but it was a great loss, we all knew how much Sebell had trained and practiced, she pored her heart into that race and that blue rider had smashed it all,their came a knock on the door “Ill get it , my father said standing up and walking over to the door , he opened it a man stood their “I am Kiba Hyuga todays race official its seems that a racer who shall remain nameless cheated in todays qualifying match so by default Sebell and Choji win and go to the regional championships to be held here in Dalkel” the man at the door announced, Sebell dropped her fork, and her jaw, “oh my really” Sebell wisped , she was so exited so couldn't talk probably.

Starr was sleeping peacefully when emerald came and woke her up , “sasuke its one-on-one comp this time “ Sebell advised a one-on-one comp was where 2 racers would face of for 5 laps since 5 city's were competing ,their would be a total of 10 racers so 4 rounds with one days brake in between

I whipped over the trees i was coming last and falling back choji was good very good, he was the racer with the black dragon and wore clothes to match it , i saw him in the distance and i was gaining on him, “let fire rip” i commanded and, Emrald threw a ball of life at the black dragon it didn't have enough range to do any harm but that wasn't Sebell's plan, its singed the end of the black dragon the most painful part, the black dragon slowed i heard its rider yelling at it to go faster but it wasn't listening it wanted revenge , the black dragon let Emrald pass it then its started biting at Emrald's tail but Emrald playfully whipped the black dragon with it keeping it out of its reach , emerald flew over the race line winning because of the black dragons jealousy,

witay's blue dragon lead for the whole race , akora's blood red dragon never stood a chance its fire having the shortest range of all dragons , but it hammered on anyway trying desperate and dirty tricks and failing with them all but on the last lap witay made a mistake barely minutes to the finish line he was showing off and did a somersault which gave akora enough time to shoot through and breath a long streak of fire scorching witay's dragon's whole left side. By the time the dragon had recovered from this akora had won the race, it just shows on the track theres no time for showing off.

this was the shortest race ever at the start of the race, atomi's dragon shot of and slashed falako's dragon with is razor sharp tail,

this was a clean race, no tricks, no fire , no biting not even any clawing ,until the end ,bajek's dragon clawed jiit's dragons tail and then badly burned it resulting in a fierce mid air dragon fight , they bit and clawed at each other, they flamed each other, both riders trying desperately to get to the finish line only meters away then bajek's dragon kicked jiit's dragon forcing him back, over the finish line , both dragons kept fighting until jiit's dragons was knocked out and fell in to the trees,

in the last lap of the race shikamary was leading , until konohamary overtook him and his dragon konohamary's dragon wiped shikamary and he fell of his dragon, konohamary, rilising what had happened swooped down and court him leaving shikamary's dragon to fly on and win the race

i lay down next to Starr, my dying horse “Im sorry. theres no more i can do” the village oracle admitted ,tears burst into my eyes “Sasuke , i won can U believe it Im going to round two tomorrow” Sebell boasted from out side the she walked in i looked up at her, she saw my face and knew that something was wrong ,the glanced over at Starr “oh my god” she whispered , she walked over to me and wrapped her arms around me “Im sorry” she whispered , i was to busy crying on her shoulder to say anything”are you ok?”she asked the dumbest question “starr was my horse for 10 years, since i was 3 “ i whimpered “i know i know” Sebell murmured the oracle got up and walked over to us she put her hand on Sebell's shoulder, her expression went blank :your..your a healer “the oracle spoke “put your hand over Starr's head and think of healing her, and you will” the oracle ordered “um ok” Sebell said as she did what she was told , the horses eyes closed ,
the next day
i was still crying, but tears of joy i awoke to see Starr munching on some hay alive and well ,Sebell came in , i got up and hugged her tight”thank you . Thank you so much” i grinned “its ok but can U not hug me so tight.. i cant breath”she replied “oh sorry” i laughed

i walked into akora's stable, and saw him lying on his dragon “whats wrong i asked “its mojo,my dragon, hes sick i cant race , you win”he replied “um im a healer i can heal him if U wont”i offered “will you oh thank you” he said and walked over to mojo and did my thing”he will be as good as ever in the morning”i explained “thank you “akora whispered , he walked over to ma and did the strangest thing, he kissed me , that was the moment i realised i was in love with him.

this race was uneventful jiit's dragon lead and won the hole race

Starr speed through the forest path dodging and weaving trees i could her the soft beat of Emrald's wings behind me “i think wher gonna win this time” i yelled ,Starr jumped over some fallen logs and spun around a corner , i saw a red and black thing in the path “hey Sebell i found a dragons egg “ i yelled out not sure if she could hear me “wow awesome bring it to the finish line”came her voice from somewhere above the trees , i picked up the egg and cradled it in my arm, i commanded Starr to go slowly and steadily

i trotted out of the forest on the wide sweeping plains , Sebell and Emrald where on a hill, Sebell ran up to me and took the egg from my hands , she examined it for a moment “what are you gonna call her”she asked “her? How do you know its a girl” i questioned “oh its egg has a smooth surface , boys have rough eggs girls smooth one's , so what are you gonna call her?” Sebell asked again “umm i don't know I'll call her , I'll tell you when she hatches” i said trying to think of a name

“aaaaaaaaarggggggggggghhhhhhhhhhhhhh how could i be so stupid i should have known i cant win this”i whispered it was the last lap and i was losing i whipped around a another turn and saw a cave straight ahead “i wonder where that leads to.. it might be a short cut.. ill take it got nothing to lose”i thought to myself as a entered the tunnel there was little light but enough for dragons to see with, suddenly emerald let off a huge fireball which lit a cavern , full of giant bats,Emrald clawed and bit them lashing out with his tail and scorching them with his fire, we suddenly bursting out of the cave on the other side of the mountain, i glanced back, i saw atomi and his dragon behind us battling the bats we led out of the caves , emerald soared past the finish line winning the race, we were going to the finals

we both shot off at the same time , jiit's dragon clawed at Emrald and took over, Emrald flew under jiit's dragon, swooping low, so low that he was pushing up water from the lake ,the plan worked, jiit's dragon slowed thinking it was far in the lead, Emrald made his move, she swooped up , higher,higher,higher, and came out just in front of jiit's and his marble white dragon Emrald banked hard around the mountains curves, this was no normal track it was all 4 rolled into one, but with only one lap. i found it hard to take the turns, the g-forces were unreal but i merged anyway. i saw the cave coming up ahead , i decided to take it , Emrald swooped into the cave dodging the bats once more, jiit and his dragon followed me in ,both dragons flamed the bats but there were to many of them , we erupted out of the cave neck to neck both dragons clawing each other furiously to get to first place, jiits dragon overtook Emrald and flamed his left wing, turning it ash black , Emrald returned fire singeing the white dragons back legs , both took the hairpin together , but Emrald came out on top , both dragons descended ,entering the thin canyon,the dragons flame each other , knocking rocks off the wall's and smashing pillars , the end of the canyon came in view, both dragons shot out, Emrald first, we shot over the plains twisting and turning, clawing and biting, flames erupted from Emrald's mouth,. burning the grass and the white dragons left wing both dragons flew over the forest straight swapping lead places ever few seconds. she burst into the city, the last leg of the race, both dragons twisted around the high risers , until the finish live came into view, both dragons stopped fighting , and flew as fast as they could until they came over the finish line,the white dragon, a whole meter behind, Emrald.
