I woke up one morning to an unusual sound. I looked out my window and there stood a very, very short man (1.5 feet) throwing pebbles at my window. Despite my disbelieve I ran down stairs, put on a pair of shoes and a jacket. I then ran outside. "Who are you" I asked the tiny man? "I am the Awakener!" he said in a humorous manner. "Umm ok, what does that mean?" I asked cautiously. "You'll find out if you follow me," he replied in a calm voice. "I guess I will follow you." "Good, good that's very good," so he set off at quite a fast pace for such a small person. I followed him silently for what seemed like hours. Finally we came to a river. I wondered why he had brought me here of all places. As I waited patiently he began dancing around in a circle and muttering in a language which I guessed to be Latin. "What are you d..." I began to ask. But before I could finish my sentence blue and black smoke began to rise from the dew covered ground. As I watched the smoke, it transformed into a door made of blue and black fog glass. I was so awestruck I didn't say a word for about five minutes. "What is that?" I asked quietly." That is a choice, a choice between accepting there is magic in the world, accepting that everything you believe in can change in seconds and a choice to take a risk." he said and calmly continued, "Now the question I have for you is will you take a chance that could change everything you ever believed in?"I had to think for a minute after a million thoughts flew through my head I made my decision."I will." I replied. "Then prepare to be awoken!" and with that I followed him through a choice.
