I can feel the breeze on my cheeks
And my hair whip around my face.
As I stand there on the dock
I can feel the lake water already
Its freezing ripples.
Standing there with just my bra and underwear
My clothes are just a blob on the ground
Probably already wet from the dew
I can see the piece of paper that I left between my clothes
Shaking rapidly as if a goodbye wave.. a promise.. a warning?
I feel the goose bumps rise all over my body
My heart beats fast with no reason.
I look up at the moon in the sky
I feel like it speaks to me
I look down at the water,
See the moon behind me through the water
It takes an aqua tint now.
So here I stand
With the aqua moon as my only witness
I toe into the water,
To make sure I feel every little drop
I'm waste deep... neck deep
And then plunge into the water
Feeling the bubbles rise from my lips
I take a look around me
Then focus on the aqua moon
And let cold death consume me..
