Writing is me. It makes up who I am, and who I will become XD
Ever since I was twelve, writing novels has been what I wanted to do. Six years of constant writing, and I had to admit that I feel I've come a long way. I've always considered writing more of an art than anything else. It's how I express myself. It's how I escape reality. It's how I live. It's a lifestyle. It's a passion. It's art.
I know there are people that think that anybody can write, and perhaps that's true, but not everyone can be a writer. Writing takes skill and experience, dedication and inspiration. To write well, above anything else, I think you should have your heart placed in whatever you're writing. At least, that's how I feel. =)
I want to write stories that will leave an impact on a person's heart.
I want to take them on an emotional rollercoaster.
I want to become an author that changes the way people look at things.
I started writing paranormal young adult romances before the entire supernatural boom, but it's still one of my favourite genres. Its one that, really, anything goes. Lately I've been more interested in romantic tragedies, though my first story on here is "Moonlight Sonata". I wrote it about 3 years ago, and while I've edited it many times since then, but I'll be editing it once more before I post new chapters up here for that one. It's actually part of a a series that I've written. The first three books are written and there's part of the fourth started. I will continue the series eventually, but I've wandered into other genres lately.
Kelley Armstrong was and still is a great inspiration, and definitely one of my favourite authors of all time.
The author that made me fall in love with tragedies has to be Laura Wiess. I'm always eagerly awaiting their next novels.
I do try to research my information, but obviously what's on the internet can't always be trusted. So if you know something is incorrect, I would love to know. I'm always open for constructive criticism. I find myself to be a fairly easy-going person, but I'm usually confident in the written work that I produce. I'm young; I know I still have a long ways to go, but I take everything in stride and work constantly to my goal of becoming an accomplished writer.
I hope you enjoy any story that I write!
There IS a cover for Moonlight Sonata
It just won't let me post it here for a clearer view...
In the end I had to design it myself, and I don't think it turned out all that bad =)
Evelyn Rae Laverne is a high school student, in love with the fantasy of the supernatural world. Of course, she would never get the Werewolf boyfriend she always dreamed about. Nor would she ever get to take a run on the wild side. Then things change as the mysterious Shayne Van Owen arrives in town, the rumored Vampire that captures her heart almost instantly. He's not like any other boy she's ever met. He's sweet, polite, and actually knows what manners are. But he has the tendency to disappear once in a while, supposedly doing errands for his parents in the city.
Then, when Blake Moone arrives a short period later, she finds her heart beating for him instead. Only, she can't stand that cocky demeanor that he possesses, and with every advance he makes, she finds herself pushing him away.
But will her resistance pay off? Or will it only cause Blake to become more interested? Just who is the right guy for her?
This story is my pride and joy, so I hope you enjoy ^.^
This is the cover I've decided to use for one of my stories "Stars in the Ocean"
Summary: Sterling has been deaf for three years, and in those three years all he's managed to do is distance himself from the rest of the world. That was, until Manami came into the picture. Now he can't get her out of his head. Things change quickly as they fall for each other -fast and hard. Will she help him feel like he belongs once again?
I wrote this story about a year ago, but rather than start from the beginning, I started writing it from the end. It's a great way to write if you're the type that struggles finding a direction with your story. I'm not, I find it easy to whip up chapters, and I always have a basic idea of where I'm going in mind when I start a story. I was just trying something new when i started the story. It's coming soon -the first two chapters are already written, so maybe you'll see them up sometime soon. Prepare yourself for tears though, because it is a tragedy, and I cried while writing the ending =P
A little about me
I'm a smiley person, and I whole-heartedly love writing, reading and music. =)
I play the piano, used to play the trombone at my old high school, and was starting to learn the sax back then too =P
Now it's just the piano, and I'm content that way too =)
I don't get insulted very easily on most days -and if I'm in an irritable mood, I try to refrain from letting it out.
I have good self-restraint =P
My best friend lives all the way on the opposite side of the country, but me and her are just as strong as ever.
I'm moving back home to where she is as soon as I finish high school.
I have a lot of self-confidence =D
After all, how do you expect to be happy if you don't love yourself first?
I don't second guess myself, especially when it comes to writing.
I'm an honest and straight-forward person, and I'm not scared to speak my mind.
I respect everyone who's willing to lend a hand to others
I respect people who throw their heart into what they're doing
I respect myself, my family and my friends
And I respect those that risk their lives everyday.
I'm open-minded -which I think is a great quality for any writer
It's a great quality for anyone, really....
But especially a writer =P
I love video games!
....But unfortunately, I don't find enough time to play them....
I plan to though!
...Pokemon, Harvest Moon, Resident Evil, Band Hero...
I love them all XD
I write on two other sites.
One is similar to this one -I believe in getting my work in "out there" so that more people have the opportunity to read my work.
Like I said, I want to become an author =P The more opportunties I give myself, the better =P
The other site I write for is for fanfiction.
Surprise fact -I'm a huge anime and manga fan -though perhaps some of you may have guessed that from my display picture =P
If you like One Piece Fanfics, then check me out at Fanfiction.net -- under the same name, of course =P
I am NOT taking new reading requests!
Between starting school, hopefully getting a job, editing chapters for "Moonlight Sonata" as well as writing the chapters for my stories on Fanfiction.net, it'll just be a little hard to find a real balance. My greatest apologies....
It's sad, but I update my Fanfiction stories more than my novel =P
Thank you for reading my novels (and poems), and if you enjoy, please fan, comment, and like!
