"Sam…" I didn't actually know what I was going to say but I wanted to say something at lease.

"Nana, Tim we're leaving now." Sam said as she went back outside avoiding my eyes.

"We are sorry child but we must leave." Nana said as she pulled Timmy but he wouldn't go, he hanged on to my hand and he didn't let go, not even an inch.

"Timothy!"

"I don't want to go Nana." Timmy said as he hid behind me.

"We must go, I will go get your mother."

"Good go get her Nana tell her I will be waiting." Timmy said as he kept hiding behind me. Nana looked at me and winked before going outside to get Sam. I waited hell I was shaking to see Sam, but she didn't come, at least not for a while.

"Do you think she will come?" I asked Timmy as I looked down at him.

"Yes, but she will take her time."

"How do you know this?" I asked as I sat down on the floor pulling him along with me.

"I know my mommy, she is trying to get control over her emotions."

"'Timmy…" I was just about to ask him something else but at that moment Sam walked in again.

"Tim, I believe I told you that we needed to leave." Sam said as she looked at Timmy only.

"I know mommy but I wanted to stay with Valerie for a little while more."

"I'm sure she has better things to do."

"I don't." I blurted out without much thought.

"See mommy she has nothing to do"

"Well she should be getting home."

"I don't have to." I blurted out again.

"Mommy can I please stay with Valerie…just for a little while more?"

"No, you have chores to do."

"Mommy I don't do chores, remember?"

"Well you will start tomorrow."

"But mommy…"

"No buts Timothy you must obey me."

"I know mommy I just wanted to be with her for some time."

"I know you did but you cant and we must go."

"But…"

"Timothy!"

"Sam, don't yell at him." I said as I stood up and held him behind me.

"Don't tell me what to so, he's my son."

"I don't care if he is yours or not, you aren't going to yell at him just because you are being a wimp and cant even look me in the eyes."

"What! You believe that I am a wimp, I should…"

"What hit me?"

"Please I am nothing like you."

"First of I never hit you, that was them but yes it did start as a game but it…"

"Stop, I don't want to hear this okay it's in the past now but I don't want to hear anything about it."

"Well guess what, I'm telling you everything."

"Then I am leaving." Sam said as she turned around to walk outside. I looked at timothy and told him to stay with Sherry. He looked at me and nodded before he went with Sherry, I nodded at her and then went after her.

"Sam!"

"Go away Valerie." Sam said as she was about to cross the street but before she could I ran in front of her and pushed her. Yes I seriously put both my hands on her chest and pushed her back, which made her stumble.

Sam looked at me and I could see the anger in her eyes as well as her posture but I also saw the pain in her eyes.

"Sam, you have to understand I didn't think they were going to do it that soon, I was planning on saying something after you left that day, but then they came and well you did all the talking in the end."

"Valerie I would rather just not talk about this please."

"I…you have to hear this okay?"

"No, I don't want to."

"Well anyways I fell in love with you when I was kissing you, okay I know that sounds stupid maybe, but it's the truth I fell for you."

"I don't believe you."

"I don't care if you do okay, I just want you to know. I could have warned you or told you and… and I didn't and because of it you got hurt. I could have done something but I didn't until it was too late by then you were hurt both physically and emotionally."

"I wish you had told me the truth."

"I…I know." I said as I looked down.

"I loved you Valerie and you hurt me, I don't care about the bruises and stuff like that, I cared about the betrayal, you betrayed me."

"I know, and I know that being sorry isn't enough…but I just wanted you to know that I wasn't lying about being in love with you."

"Okay." Sam said as she looked at me, in my eyes. I looked at her and smiled sadly containing the tears that were threatening to break free. I shuddered and put my hands around myself before nodding and turning around. I wasn't about to let her see me suffer if she didn't want to believe me, I wasn't.

I walked noticing how my tears were running free now but I didn't care because when I looked back Sam had already gone back inside for timothy…I guess she really didn't care. I must have been in a trance because next thing I saw was Sam running to me, and no I'm not talking about that oh please don't go stay with me thing we see in the movies, no I'm talking about that frantic look on the face kind of run. I guess I was too upset to see the car that had been heading my way but Sam hadn't and she ran to safe me but it was too late by the time she got close I was flying backwards in the air.
