It was like a pack of wild animals that ran towards Sam and pushed her down. Hell it was actually like some lionesses attacking a baby zebra. So here is the image for those who wonder how she looked like. Sam was tackled into the ground by a bunch of kids and woman as well as teenagers and they were all screaming while I leaned back against the wall and screamed, terrified of how Sam just seemed to disappear.

Now I really was freaking out, this was beyond getting killed what if these savages were cannibals or something like that. I really didn't know what to do I mean should I stay behind and help or leave. I was still contemplating this when one of them pulled away and walked towards me it was a cute little girl blonde with blue eyes holding onto a teddy bear.

"Um, what's your name?" the little girl asked me sweetly.

"Valerie?"

"Oh that's a pretty name, are you Sammy's girlfriend?" the little girl said just as all the people moved back and Sam stood up laughing.

"Well that was a nice welcome." Sam said as she laughed and I watched as a beautiful and I mean beautiful like Anne Hathaway combined with Megan Fox and Angelina Jolie walked down the stairs and hugged Sam before kissing her on the cheek.

"Hello Mariana." Sam said as she smiled at her and I could see that Mariana clearly liked Sam but Sam only regarded her as a sister by the way she held her and the friendly look on her face.

"Samantha it has been awhile."

"Sorry I've been busy." Sam said as she looked my way and blushed. Mariana looked my way as well and walked towards me as I stood there a bit confused.

"Hello I'm Mariana and you are?"

"Valerie."

"Nice to meet you." Mariana said as she shook my hand.

"Nice to meet you too." I said smiling and still confused.

"Mommy she's Sammy's girlfriend." The cute little blonde girl said as she held onto Mariana's leg.

"Oh really, well I'm glad that she has finally found someone." Mariana said as she gave me a look that made me want to check how I looked.

"Actually we are on our first date." Sam said as she came to stand next to me.

"Well that means you two are dating right?" One of the girls said from the crowd that had gathered behind us.

"Yes." I said slowly.

"So that means you two are girlfriends." The girl said and a cheer went around saying yea and nodding their heads.

"Yea I guess we are." I said as I smiled at Sam noticing the surprise in her eyes and then she too smile.

"That's so sweet, now you won't be sad Sammy." The cute little blonde girl said again as she walked towards Sam and smiled raising her hands.

"No I won't" Sam said as she picked up the little girl and gave her a hug, it was sweet seeing them hug. To be honest the way I saw it was that Sam was a huge teddy bear and the child well she was like a baby.

"Sammy how long will you stay this time?"

"Just a little while Mandy." Sam said as she kissed the little girl and put her down. Sam then went introducing me to her friends. After quiet a while we sat down on a couch as the kids went to bed. Sam said goodnight to Mariana as well until it was just Sam and I.

"So um what was that?" I said as I faced her.

"Women who are abused, children thrown form their homes, families looking for a home." Sam said as she smiled at me.

"And how do you play a part in this?"

"I kind of pick them up." Sam said as she blushed.

"Wait what?"

"Have you ever seen Hitch?"

"Yes?"

"Well you know how there really was no way to contact him unless someone who had contracted him before gave his number to a friend or something."

"Yea"

"Well that's how I work."

"So you are a dating adviser?"

"No I help abused women and children, people who have trouble, that's why I was bleeding that day… I was helping a woman escape her abusive husband."

"And you bring them here?"

"No, well only if they have no where else to go." Sam said as she stood up.

"Why do you do it?" I said as I too stood up and headed outdoors into the garden.

"I want to help." Is all Sam said as she took my hand and led me past the garden into the woods making me freak out again.

"You like the dark?"

"What?"

"Do you like the dark?"

"Yea a little why?"

"No reason."

"Oh okay, well anyways that's what I do to get all bloodied." Sam said as she leaned against a tree and just stood there leaning as if it didn't matter where she was.

"You know I don't know what to think of you." I finally said as I walked up to her and put my hands on her stomach as I leaned in, her arms immediately encircled me. I didn't understand what I was doing, maybe I was feeing bad about how kind and caring she is only to be hurt by me in the end.

I stood there with her thinking and enjoying the cool breeze, the sound of her heart, I could see why she enjoyed the night.

"We have to go." Sam said and I realized that I had just about fallen asleep when I felt her chest rumble as she spoke.

"I'm sorry." I said as I pulled back and began to walk back to the car. The drive home was peaceful and sweet. I sat there and looked at Sam as she drove looking over at me once in a while. Finally we got back to the city so I sat up and waited till we got to my place. Sam parked the car and got out as I got out and began to walk to my door. I inserted my key but didn't open it; I turned around to face Sam. I looked up at Sam and smiled.

"Thanks for the fun, dinner, and trusting me." I said as I looked in her eyes.

"Your welcome." Sam said as she rubbed the back of her neck again.

"Um… well I'll see you tomorrow?"

"Yea sure." Sam said as she looked around.

"So um… yea."

"I'll go now." Sam said as she turned and walked back, I turned to my door and pushed it open before I felt a hand on my wrist and back pulling me around.
