Chapter one: Play Ground deaf
"Hey dude throw it over here!" Janie Reed yelled to her best friend Greggory Hamilton a blue eyed red head. He threw it to her ad smiled. He could see Mrs. Grey standing behind him as he turned his head.
"Great throw!" She said.
Greggory smiled then looked at Janie. The ball hittted his stomache. he fell to the ground aching in pain. "Ouch." he said.
"Hey you o-" Janie's voice went mute.
"What?" Greggory said.
Mrs.Grey's mouthed Greggory but he couldn't hear it. "I can't hear you." His voice became weird and scratched. He felt tears going down his cheek.
"Now Greggory tell me what is the capital of Greek?" His mom said. She took up the time to home school him. Greggory could read lips and hands but he was to depressed to answer.
"Athens." He mouthed not wanting to talk because of how he hated his voice.
"Correcto modo." She looked at the papers.
Greggory stood up and looked out the window. A black car pulled up and a tall mad came out. His dad gave him a hand shake. He walked to the front door and then a loud hello emerged. "Who's that?" his mom said.
"Me Gina!" The man's mouth moved. He removed his sunglasses and they hugged.
"Mom!" He yelled.
The man smiled at him. he moved his hands trying to make Greggory hi but he made Greg hell.
"You could just talk." Greggory said. He tapped his lips."Lip talk."
