PART 19: LUCAS STROVE ~the Angels~
What the hell is wrong with the Angels? Can't they stop bothering me? Why do they have to get themselves involved in such mess? What happened to the window? Oh, that was broken because Alexander threw his pet to it the other day, right? But now, even the door is broken??? Ugh! How irritating!
I'm okay with the sight and smell of blood, actually. I'm just lazy to care much about this human boy pet of Alexander the other day when he got beaten by him. But today... when they brought me here today... oh my, I saw the most amazing sight! How brave this young pet is. He's really commiting suicide. Now, I feel really amazed at his effort. And I'm paying him an awful lot of respect. He deserves a standing ovation.
"So you lied to me? With your thoughts?" Dasmond asked. I only chuckled.
"I thought of things I wanted you to hear so that you'll think that I thought so..." I said.
"So, blood is okay for you, then?" He asked me again.
"Of course, my lovely... It's been more than 600 years already. I'm not your dumb brother, Alexander," I said, insulting his brother who is now looking at me like I did something wrong. Well, I spoke of the truth here, aren't I?
"If it wasn't because you healed Micheal, I would have already had you cooked," Alexander said.
"Sssss," I hissed payfully. "Scary..." I said sarcastically and laugh a little at that.
"Don't get too cocky just because you have the kind of ability we all need," Alexander said.
"What's wrong with being cocky? 'Cocky' is my middle name," I said, trying to annoy him more. He only glares at me and looks away. He's now looking down at his dear pet who laid still on the bed. "Hmm... You seriously need an attitude adjustment, Alexander. You are way... kinder... when you used to be human," I said. Yes, back in those days, Alexander was the nice one. He loved to help people without asking anything in return and always hesitated whenever we got a witch to burn. He was very kind... But now, he's more monstrous than any of us.
"We can't never go back to those days..." He said without even looking at me. He looks so sad.
"Are you seriously intending to do so, brother?" Dasmond asked Alexander. To do what? Ugh! Dasmond and his 'listening to thoughts' thing!
"Yes, brother..." He said, looking back at his brother sadly. "I can't allow him to remember what I had done to him..." Oh, so he's going to erase his little pet's memories?
"Wouldn't that be difficult for you? You are in love with him, right?" I asked, feeling sympathetic at him. I know how it feels when it comes to this love thing. I ever love someone who didn't love me back and went far, far away. I should not care about that now.
He only smiles sadly and looks at his unmoving pet, Micheal. "Yes, I love him..." He said, sadly. "I'll just be with him for a little while... before he forgets about me," He said. "No regrets..." His eyes are dropping tears now. "No regrets..." He repeated.
