"Where exactly are we meeting your dad for lunch?" Lily asked as she tucked the blouse she was wearing into her high waisted skirt. Cassandra pulled on her tight black dress carefully over her styled hair.
It was difficult for her to remember and she just sighed slightly. Cassandra grabbed her cell phone and checked her messages from Tyler. "Encore, up town," Cassandra replied as she slipped on her pink pumps.
Lily walked over to Cassandra and grinned. "You're so pretty," Lily said cupping Cassandra's face into her hands. Cassandra smiled slightly as she placed her hands on her waist.
Cassandra nuzzled her face into Lily's neck. Cassandra wasn't able to tell Lily that she wasn't completely sure about this. Mainly she had the fear that Tyler was lying to her. That he wasn't really proud of her.
"Let's get going, we're supposed to be there soon," Lily said and pulled away from Cassandra a little. Cassandra looked up at Lily with a sad look in her eyes. "Everything will be okay," Lily said as she tried to reassure Cassandra.
After giving Cassandra a quick kiss, Lily slipped easily into her flats and walked out of the bedroom. Cassandra just stood there a moment and sighed to herself before grabbing her purse and left her room.

Cassandra stood outside of Encore, just looking up at the sign that transitioned from blue to red to green and blue again. "Come on Cassie..." Lily said grabbing her tiny hand and took her inside. Without saying much of anything, Cassandra just followed them into Encore.
"Good afternoon ladies, for how many?" The hostess said and looked down at their hands. The hostess smirked and looked up at the couple.
Cassandra noticed and raised an eyebrow slightly. "We're meeting my dad here..." Cassandra said with a forced smile. The hostess nodded as Cassandra looked around. "Oh, there he is!" Cassandra said as she saw Tyle waving her down.
The hostess nodded once again and took the two to the table where Tyler was sitting. "Hey girls!" Tyler greeted them both Cassandra and Lily.
Once the two girls took ttheir seats two menus were set down. "My names Sally and I'll be your waitress today," Sally said before pulling out a pad. "Can I start you off with some drinks?"
The three all ordered pepsi's and Cassandra hadn't noticed anything strange so far, but Lily sure had. "That waitress was watching you..." Lily mumbled in an unpleased voice with a huff.
Cassandra just laughed and shook her head. "Ignore it sweetheart," Cassandra said as she opened the menu. The only thing Cassandra noticed was Tyle staring at her.
She glanced up and Tyler grinned. "You look so happy with your girlfriend... That makes me happy," Tyler said folding his hands on the table.
The young couple couldn't help but grin. "Thank you... But I wish mom could be as happy as me... Or even see how happy I truly am," Cassandra said as she flipped through the pages of the menu.
Tyler frowned slightly and looked at his menu. "One day, your mother will see how happy you are with Lily, but for now, just give her some space. Your grandfather raised her horribly," Tyle said trying to cheer up Cassandra.
For the most part, the mother and daughter had been close but now things were breaking apart all because of Cassandra's sexuality. "I hope so... Grandpa was a jackass," Cassandra said sadly and finally finished with her menu.
The drinks arrived at the table and the three ordered their meals. Cassandra just let Lily and Tyler continue the rest of the lunch talking with each other. At the end of the meal, Cassandra ended up being the one snatching up the bill quick enough with a grin.
She looked on the back of the check to see if there was some survery, but there was something even worse. "It's the waitresses number," Cassandra said laughing.
"For me?" Tyler asked grinning. Cassandra shook her head slowly.
"Fraid not daddio," Cassandra said smirking and stood up to go pay at the front. Lily followed close behind as did Tyler. "Dad you can go wait outside, this is gonna get intesresting," Cassandra said grinning.
When they got up front, Sally wasn't there. Cassandra turned to Lily and grabbed her by her small waist, pulling her close. "I love you," Cassandra said, finally showing some emotion before crashing her lips to Lily's. It took Lily by complete surprise but she finally accepted and kissed back.
It took a little bit before someone cleared their throat. Cassandra smirked and pulled away looking at Sally. "Sorry," Cassandra said before paying and said nothing else. The couple left tightly holding hands.
"That was mean, but I enjoyed it," Lily said laughing. Cassandra just shrugged with a grin. She wasn't going to let anyone get in between their relationship.
