Hair as bright as fire

Curls so wild and free

Her skin pale as perfection

And eyes blue as the sea

She is more than just her scars

She's a being just like me

We complement each other

Like together we should be

I know how much she hurts

And it kills me to know she does

I feel so helpless because i cant help

Her smiles i cannot trust

I made the mistake of letting her go

But once was all it took

It's time to get up, put on the smile

I can't go back or even look

I held her back, kept her in pain
