What She Taught Me

Poetry By: Angel Flash
Gay and lesbian

I had a girl once. I thought I loved her. But all i ever did was hurt for her. I was obsessed with feeling loved and she broke me. Then I met her. My Mooska; who taught me not just to be loved but how to ove back. This is for you, Micki. I love you.

She once told me that she loves me so

Lies told for me to trust

Every heartache was another scar

She broke me just because

I wished that she could understand

All the ways I needed her

I needed her to make me fall in "love"
I needed this lie to last forever

She lied to me, she lied to me

She wondered why i hurt

She faked this love, but so did i

I never knew I'd learn

Those brown eyes used to be my world

I couldnt live without their gaze

Now I realize that she never meant

To save me from my pains

She whispered to me "Angel, dear,

I swear i love you too."

If only I'd known that coming soon

Is a love that would be true

She walked into my life by chance

5 rows behind where I sat

She smiled at me, didnt say a word to me

But i fell hard with nothing but that

She told me then she was just like me

I swear my heart skipped a beat

Soon after she said she wanted me too

Finally our hearts were synced

One month in, I shut her out

Left her out in the cold

I had a plan to save her pain

But she was oh so bold

She confronted me and told me off

Forced me to fix my crazy plan

I was lonely when i realized she was right

Back to the lie i ran

Two weeks later i was still so alone

And i missed my baby bad

I dont know how but now shes back

With her I just cant be sad

She fixes me, she makes me whole

and shes the only on for me

The love she gives to me is real

Forever it will be
