Drowning deep in loneliness

Being held down

Chained to my fear

I want to escape

Tears keep escaping

Cuts keep appearing

Judgment comes my way

Fingers follow me

Snickers and looks

Full of hate

Judging me everyday

I just want to run away

Follow a path

Where I can be me

Where I can find love

And not be judged

Where the light shines

And I don't have to hide

A place where judging eyes

Can no longer follow me

I just want to find that place where I can be me

I don't want to hide

I want to be free

But I'm still waiting

For that special place

Where I can escape

And live carelessly

I'm waiting

For that light

That'll show the way

Where judgment does no exist

I'm waiting for the path

That will take me away

Far away from the fingers

That keep pointing my way

I want to escape

Break free from my chains

I want to be free

Where the light always shines

I want to be me

Stop hiding al the time

From these judging eyes

And the snickers I hear

I'm waiting for that place

Where I can love freely

Where I won't be judged

Where I can be me…
