I'm a retired music educator and professional singer. In writing my memoirs, it occurred to me I wasn't a writer. In the process of learning the craft, my passion for the art of writing blossomed causing me to presently have three novels in the writing stages. My short story, I'm submitting is more fact than fiction. Some readers have told me, it made them cry.
