The symptoms usually show up about a week before a womens cycle and then they will subside a week after her cycle. Some of the symptoms can be very heavy breats, aching, burning, tender, lumpy breast tissue, and nipple discharge. Breast infections can be one of the complications seen by physicians, physicians assistants, and nurses practioners. Much can be done to help the disease. Medications like estrogen and progesterone can help with hormone imbalances. Heat compresses alleviate the breast pain. Eliminating foods like chocolate, caffeine, and tea which can increase the breast metabolic activity. Surgery can be done in women with the chronic disease.
