Page 1, Are genetically modified foods safe and should they be labeled to allow the public to make an informed decision?

Genetically Modified foods are only 16 years old and need to go through further testing on animals and possible human trials to verify their safety. The FDA has only conducted plant testing and has not accepted the independent studies done on animals that show large tumor growth in rats fed genetically modified foods.  The American public should be allowed to make an informed decision and know if the food they are consuming has been genetically modified.
