Western Medicine or European Medicine; the cost of Health or Wealth
While prescription drugs are over running our lives in America, has our country failed our health and well-being for the wealth and well-being of its very own green eyed monster? With all of the medical advancement in medicine over the last century, it seems as though Americans have lost their way when it comes to the truly important patient-doctor experience that might be found in other countries, countries that are considered to be less medically advanced, but that are showing unprecedented scientific improvements without the use of prescription medicines. Therefore, countries like the Ukraine and Poland are offering natural resources and lower cost regimines that don’t have unnecessary and unknown health risks like those of Western Medicine. Presently, the healthcare system in America is very aware to the benefits of these European therapies that are preventing and even curing major diseases that we struggle with America, but will still deny them because of the money that has been invested in pharmaceutical companies that has brought them so much wealth which has sustained them for so long.
Personal Comment: Within this paper will focus on the use of natural salt in preventing, and curing of major illness, like, asthma, bronchitis, emphysema, pneumonia, arthritis; all of which are a billion dollar industry in the pharmaceutical world, because everyone has to breathe, and will pay whatever it takes for prescriptions as opposed to the cheaper and more beneficial way of using salt therapy. So that will be my main focus. But I thought in an intro the whole salt mine therapy would get lost in the intro. What do you think???? Thanks.
