I read many reviews for Hoover Linx Stick Vacuum and have had it now for about 2 weeks. I am going to review it as I see it and then address some things I read in other reviews.

The Hoover Linx Cordless Stick cleaner vac's battery does get used up after 20 minutes, BUT at least it is cordless. You can get a lot done in 20 minutes when you aren't untangling a cord. I can do my kitchen/eat in dining room, large living room, two hall ways and one bedroom. So I do a much better job getting the bedrooms vacuumed! Before I was lugging my Eureka Boss upstairs and it is HEAVY.

The Hoover Linx Stick vacuum will pick up hairbands, silly bands, cheeto's, ... dried macaroni. Not grapes. :-) It does a great job on leaves and crud brought in on feet and on the stuff my toddler knocks off his tray. It does a great job with hair, too. We don't have pets. It works great on hardwood and carpet.

It is easy to maneuver. The "head" of it is slim so it fits under the edge of the counters and chairs etc. It is also easy to go around edges and corners because where the body attaches to the "head" is like ball and socket rather than a hinge. It is also significantly lighter than my "full" vacuum.
