Booksie has a rich text editor which allows you to add formatting to your uploads. You can add links, images, even video to your stories, novels, and poems. Let your imagination go.
Below is the editor that is used to create your work.
If you use Microsoft Word as your word processor, you can preserve Word formatting by cutting and pasting your document, and clicking the blue W icon. Follow the prompts and your work will appear.
To insert a link highlight the words you want linked, then press the button shown in the image above. Fill in the link url and press the submit button. Your link will appear.
You can also embed an image from your Photobucket account or that you have stored elsewhere on the Web. To do so, click the image link where you want the image to appear and then submit the path to the image. Click submit and you're all set.

If the formatting still isn't working, try saving your file as HTML from your word processor and then cut and paste it into the browser window.
Steps: On your word processor, go to Save As and click the HTML option.
Mac Safari users sometimes experience more problems with formats. If you are using Safari and can't seem to format your writing properly, please consider downloading Firefox. Firefox is the second most popular browser in the world, is free, and is considered to be the best.
The site automatically formats line breaks as a double space. To create a single space after line breaks, go to the end of each line and press Shift-Enter simultaneously.
You may edit your work at anytime via the Publish tab. Through this tab, you can change the title, change the description, and edit the body of your work.
