There once was a white doll
Who hid herself deep within
No one ever saw her pain
Yet her tears fell like rain
She held the all the love
Of a sweet little black doll
He tried to ease her mind
But he could only be kind
The white doll had eyes
More black than charcoal
But still no one could see
That she was in pure agony
Except the kind black doll
Who was called impure
They won't see his eyes white
Or understand his soul has light
No matter how he loved her
She could not be cured
Her black eyes closed forever
He swore to love again never
His white eyes were stained
To the darkest shade of black
When he lost love that day
His soul died people say
Two dolls oppressed
Lay side by side in rest
Snow covers with care
The love that they share
