Chapter 7: Asylum
“She… she…died….” I said telling my Grandparents. They both stared at each other… oh no they thought I was lying, I couldn’t be lying it happened I know it happened. My grandparents left without a word, I could hear them arguing… I heard them use the A word. Asylum. They thought I was crazy!! I fell asleep waiting for them to come out. It was 6:50 when I heard the door barge open.
“ Athens Asylum.” Two Bulgy white people said. oh no.
“Granddad, Grandma who are they?” I asked. Even though I knew who they were. they cant do this to me, if they loved me, they wouldn’t. they would believe me….
“Uhh.. Honey you’re just going to a little place for a while…” Grandma said.
“You’ll be back soon. We promise.” Granddad said.
“No! This is just like the time when Mom and Dad left m…” I paused. My parents left me, they died in a car crash. I know they didn’t want me. They didn’t want a insane child, they didn’t like me. The hated the site of me, I just knew it. My Grandparents were doing the same thing.
“I’ll be back, and you’ll believe me…. But you’d be too late.” I said. They carried me out.
“I’ll be BACK!!!” I screamed. The threw me into the back of there Van. The whole ride to the Asylum was silent. I’d be back. I know I will.
