The darkness unravels
the day sheds the light,
Intrigued by the things
that go bump in the night.

The stars how they shine
the rapos appear
The sun light resigns
Common sense disappears.

Monsters they move
out from under our beds,
Zombies walking around
with their cut off heads.

Ghosts they come out
and haunt people's spaces,
Just to see the shocked look
on people's faces.

Things creep up behind us
that we can't explain
The tweekers, the druggies,
the criminally insane.

When fevers spike up
and no one knows why
When murders happen
and good people die.

The dark curtain goes up
and sunlight appears,
The stage goes away,
and so does our fears.
