Poetry By: BUnique
Horror

This story, about a man in the back seat, is a legend been told in many different stories/films. E.g. the 1998 film Urban Legend.

So here is my version told as a poem.

Backseat Killer

Driving down the deserted highway.
She doesn’t notice, he’s behind her.

Pulling the knife, as high as he can.
He attempts to stab her, kill her … damn.

Ducking back down, behind the seat.
Failing to add, to his murder streak.

A warning flash, from a car behind.
Causes her to break, flee and cry.

Escaping the car, she locks the doors.
Runs to the pavement, she calls the cops.

What’s the emergency, asks the police?
A man with a knife, is hiding, in my back seat.

A/N - This story, about the man in the back seat, is a legend been told in many different stories. E.g. the 1998 film Urban Legend.
In 2007 a lady from Alabama was threatened by a man who was hiding in the back of her SUV. He intended on killing the female student by shooting her.
Thankfully when the man popped up behind her, frightened she slammed on her breaks and darted away from the SUV, this action saved her life.
