Candy Man

Lets trick or treat, it’s Halloween.
It’s dark outside, lets fetch some sweets.
Every door, we shall visit.
Knock … knock … knock, the sweets exquisite.

Be very careful, our parents say.
The candy man, is out to play.
He smothers treats with cyanide.
Hide’s in apples, sharp razor blades.

If your greeted, by a warty man.
Turn on your heals, run away, real fast.
Go home and stay, a place your safe.
Cos the candy man, wants to play.

A/N - This is based on a Urban Legend, about a man that hands out poison candy on Halloween.

In 1974 this horror story became reality. Ronald O’Bryan added Cyanide to candy. Giving the candy to his Daughter, Son and Two other children. This horrific act resulted in the death of his son.

Ronald [The Candy Man] paid for his crime in 1984, death by a lethal injection.
